Caring for our animals. Protecting your family. Creating magic safely.

Humphreys Enchanted Emporium, LLP home of the Humphrey Honey Bunny Farm Traveling Petting Zoo has welcomed families since 2022, when the petting zoo was originally operated through Humphrey Honey Bunny Farm, LLC. The name and business structure may have changed, but the safety net surrounding our animals and guests did not. Our animals are family first and petting zoo partners second. We know their personalities, routines and normal behaviors, and their health, happiness and welfare will always come before an event.

Our Animal Health Program

Our animals receive routine veterinary care, preventative care and vaccinations appropriate for their individual species and veterinary recommendations. Our participating livestock and rabbits are evaluated before public interaction and monitored throughout events. If we notice illness, injury, an unexplained wound, unusual behavior or another health concerns, that animal does not participate.

Sometimes a perfectly healthy animal simply doesn't feel like clocking in for an event, and that's okay, too. Our animals do not owe us anything and are entitled to taking as much time off as they need. If an animal chooses to stay home, they stay home. We do not make any animal participate in the petting zoo.

Our Livestock

Goats: Celestia, Honeydew, Luna Pearl, Matrix, Bambina, Fiorella & Mika

Happily, Retired Goats: Twilight & Apple Jack

Sheep: Meadow & Merlin

Sheep in Training: Daffodil

Pigs: Ember

Pigs In Training: Ron Weasley, Hermione, Beatrix & Myrtle

Happily, Retired Pigs: Snape & Dumbledore, who are living their best lives on the farm. There magic still exist in the petting zoo.

What About Our Bottle Babies?

You may occasionally meet a bottle baby in our petting zoo. Being bottle fed does not exempt an animal from our health requirements. If one of our bottle babies is participating with the public, that animal has completed the vaccination requirements established for public participation under our veterinary guided animal health program.

Everyday Biosecurity

Biosecurity is about much more than one disease. Our routine practices include veterinary care, vaccination and health documentation, fecal and parasite monitoring, prompt manure removal, cleaning and sanitation of animal contact equipment, and hygiene measures.

We are also a no feed petting zoo. Guests do not feed our animals, and we do not sell or provide animal feed for public interaction. There is a simple reason behind that rule: we do not want food driven animals. Removing food from the interaction allows our animals to choose whether they would like to approach, be petted, or simply hang out nearby. It also helps us maintain control over what and how much our animals eat while they're away from home.

Our Rabbits

Our rabbits have different health and biosecurity needs from our livestock, so their care and preventative practices are tailored specifically to them. Our rabbits care routine care includes health monitoring, sanitation, parasite prevention, and species appropriate veterinary care.

Rabbits: Sage, Amethyst, Binx, Oddity, Bunz

Veterinary Care Documentation

Veterinary and vaccination documentation is maintained for our animals and is available upon appropriate request to event organizers, facilities, insurers, government agencies, or others requiring animal health verification. We also travel to every event with our animal's vaccination records.

Our Promise to You

Many of the people who walk through our gates are families and their children. We have children of our own, and we understand the responsibility that comes with asking another family to trust us with their safety. We would never knowingly place an animal, guest or someone's child at unnecessary risk. If protecting our animals or the public means an animal stays home or animal participation at an event must stop, that decision comes first.

We're trusting you with animals we love, and you're trusting us with people you love. We take both sides of that trust seriously.

That's been our standard since 2022.
