Scout The Wizard of Reason

There’s a quiet power in knowing when to speak and when to simply be.

That’s Scout , the first potbelly pig of the petting zoo, and the old soul who paved the way for every magical snout that followed.

Scout isn’t flashy. He doesn’t need to be. One look from him and you know, he’s seen things. He’s figured it out. He understands the rhythm of the wind, the moods of the humans, and which pocket has snacks.

He’s the reason Snape the Psychic Pig has visions.
He’s the reason Dumbledore the Vanishing Wizard can slip into shadows.
Because he trained them. Not with words, but with wisdom. With presence. With little huffs and grunts that meant, “watch, and learn.”

Scout is the Wizard of Reason, the one who balances the magic and the silliness. He’s got the insight to read a crowd and a look that says "I've seen this moment before.

These days, he enjoys belly rubs more than adventures, but don’t let that fool you, the magic still hums in his bones. If you listen closely when he snorts, you might just hear an ancient truth.

He’s not just the first pig.
He’s the root of the wonder.
He’s the keeper of the calm.

The Petting zoo wouldn't be what it is…without the magic he passed on.

Applejack The Shy Showboat

If you’ve ever seen a goat strike a pose like he’s on a runway, chances are… you’ve met Applejack.

The son of Twilight, our beloved Guiding Star, Applejack was born right into the magic of the traveling petting zoo. At first, he kept to himself a little shy, a little skeptical, and a lot attached to his mama. But even back then, you could tell there was something bubbling beneath that quiet gaze.

He’s always had a spark a bit of a rowdy streak, a twist of rebellion, and a strong opinion on snack time. In his younger days, he’d leap before he looked, then hide behind Twilight like, “Who, me?” But time has a funny way of turning the bashful into bold.

Now?
He’s a full-blown showboat. Strutting. Posing. Holding a stare like he’s trying to win a staring contest with the sun. He still plays it cool…but if there’s a crowd watching, don’t be surprised if Applejack finds his best angle.

He’s not just part of the story he is the story. A true original. Raised in the dust of fairgrounds and the sparkle of stardust.

Guests love him. Kids adore him. And Twilight? She still watches him with the softest pride like any good mother does when her wild one finds his way.

Applejack’s not retired he’s just selective now.
When he chooses to appear…you’ll know it. And you’ll never forget it.

Twilight The Guiding Star

Before there were tents, tokens, or tales…there was Twilight.

She was the very first goat of the Humphrey Honey Bunny Farm Traveling Petting Zoo — bold, beautiful, and gently majestic. Alongside her son Applejack and daughter Celestia the Wandering Star, Twilight helped turn a simple dream into a living, breathing story of joy and connection.

She’s seen it all , muddy boots, squealing toddlers, magical mishaps, and unforgettable festivals. Through every step, she’s carried a quiet wisdom that grounds the whole herd.

Twilight also shares something special with Steven, the one we call the Animal Whisperer. He raised her when she was just a tiny little baby, and over the years, their connection has stayed strong. She knows his voice, follows him with ease, and always seems to show up just when he needs her. It’s not flashy, it’s just real.

Guests adore her calm spirit and gentle heart. She's part of the foundation, part of the family, and always one of the first faces to welcome you to the Hollow Haven.

She’s not just a goat.
She’s not just a mother.
She’s a legend, and one of the reasons the magic began.

They once led the laughter, the leaping, and the love. Now they graze, nap, and nibble under open skies, choosing when and if they'd like to return. These animals aren't gone...just resting between chapters.

Their magic still hums in every breeze. They’ve earned it. They started the magic, and today’s animals are carrying it on, one hoofprint at a time.
